We recommend a nutritious breakfast to sustain students through the morning. A good breakfast should include protein and complex carbohydrates. Excessive sugar should be avoided.
Choose healthy snacks: Students are not allowed to bring sodas or candy for lunch or snack. Water only, in appropriate containers with lids (caps or sports type plastic lids) may be consumed in class. Please - NO GLASS BEVERAGE OR FOOD CONTAINERS.
We do not allow students to have “fast food” brought in (or delivered) for lunch. Students receiving or bringing fast food lunches may eat them in the office or courtyard area, returning to the main lunch area when they are finished eating.
We are aware of the increasing number of students that are allergic to various foods, particularly peanuts. Please let the office know about any allergies and be sure that your child knows about any restrictions on foods due to allergies.
